The VW 385/1 is a universal measuring bar that can be used:

  • in conjuction with VW 385/14, VW 385/15, VW 385/30 and a dial gauge to accurately measure and set the pinion gear depth in the transaxle,
  • in conjuction with VW 385/14, VW 385/20, VW 385/30 and a dial gauge to accurately measure and set the pinion gear depth in the rear differential,
