The 30-100 press piece is used:
- in conjunction with VW 454 in the installation of an input shaft oil seal,
- in conjunction with 3061 — Press Piece to remove pinion shaft inner bearing race and shims from a rear differential housing,
- in conjunction with a block of wood to install an outer bearing on the rear differential pinion shaft.
