The 30-505 is a mandrel that can be used:
- in conjunction with a 10-550 press piece to remove a bearing or inner seal form a hub carrier,
- in conjunction with a VW 472/2 press piece to press the countershaft needle bearing out of the transmission housing,
- in conjunction with a 40-503 press piece to install the countershaft needle bearing in the transmission housing,
- in conjunction with a 40-503 press piece to install an input shaft needle bearing.
